Music Bridges that Integrate Mind, Body, Spirit

The relationship between the mind and body is fostered by one’s incentive which is the essence of a human’s being. Music therapists have a unique entry point that encapsulates the physical, emotional and social domains of function through cultural elements of music that so easily render psychotherapeutic entry. Music play provides perhaps the most essential means of assessing and treating body-mind function because in sound, rhythm, tone and melody, we organize, emote and entrain. Music is the bridge that connects our physiology with our thoughts, feeling and function.
