Grooving to Maximize the Clinical Environment: 5 Concepts for Success will help participants gain valuable technical vocabulary for hand drums/guitar accompaniment solidifying a deeper individual sense of the importance of groove / “feel” in clinical practice. A variety of styles/genres and clinical scenarios will be addressed towards greater musical competence.
Mike LimBybliw, MT-BC became a board certified music therapist in 2010 after he received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota. Mike is currently the supervising music therapist at Good Samaritan Society Specialty Care Community in Robbinsdale, Minnesota, a national roster American Music Therapy Association internship. Since 2012, Mike has been a frequent presenter at state, regional, and national conferences on percussion, guitar, and clinical groove concepts. Mike lives in Saint Paul, MN with his amazing wife, Amy and son, Oscar.
