Speaker Biographies:
Jennifer Hicks, MT-BC is the owner of Joyful Noises LLC, where her mission is to utilize music therapy and yoga to inspire and empower others to experience and create joy in their lives, regardless of circumstances, age, or ability level. She is proud to have been a board-certified music therapist for twenty years, with additional experience as a licensed music educator and registered yoga teacher. Jennifer has presented regionally and nationally for the American Music Therapy Association and internationally via webinar for Music Therapy Ed on the use of yoga in music therapy. In addition, she is a frequent presenter for local groups on various wellness-related topics. Jennifer is passionate about applying the principles of yoga to both her personal and professional practices. She finds true joy in sharing this knowledge with others and is therefore honored and excited to facilitate this CMTE with you!

Christina Wood, MA, MT-BC is the Founder & Clinical Director of Healing Rhythms Music Therapy, LLC. She has over ten years experience working in the medical field, much of which has focused on a holistic and integrative approach to wellness. Christina has been fortunate to implement several medical music therapy programs and work alongside experts in pediatric and adult integrative medicine, including those at Mayo Clinic. She is passionate about promoting holistic approaches to healthcare, including music-assisted-relaxation which she has completed two research studies with. She frequently leads lectures for medical staff and patients about music-based wellness and is excited to share with attendees at this CMTE.
