Katie sieger, MM, LPMT, MT-BC (she/her) is a board certified music therapist who leads the music therapy/ creative arts program for Northwestern Medicine in Chicago. Katie received her bachelors degree in music therapy from Belmont University in 2019 and completed her board certification in March of 2020. While working in a multidisciplinary pediatric outpatient center, katie received her masters degree in music therapy from Colorado State University focusing on music therapy research methods and how music impacts the brain. After 3 years in California katie moved back to her home city of Chicago and worked for a music therapy private practice. In 2024 she was approached by Northwestern Medicine to create/lead a music therapy program within the hospital system. Within the hospital katie works with many different populations including oncology, palliative, rehabilitation, and the NICU.

Outside of work katie enjoys spending time with her friends and family, reading, and traveling.
